Prakticum 2011-2012

Note: I had the picture of a girl in another enviroment, other cloths and other hair and I thought it could be fun turn her into Snow White. My daughter is a bit splitted, in one way she loves it (as it is Snow White) but in the same way... "Why is she eating a green apple, dad?" Can't be a green apple, must be a red one and then she dies! And then the prince gives her a kiss and they live happy ever after :)

Note: This painting I started in spring 2007 before moving to Finland. I thought it could be cool to make some own stamps with the year as postage, so there have been 07, 08, 09 and now 12 hehe. Today I also come up with the idea to instead of having "Sweden - Ruotsi" as planned have the "European Union", lots of small states eats up of one big. It got even better when I discovered the EU motto: "United in Diversity"...

Note: 10 years ago I found a tiny little Duke Nukem pixel picture which I thought was awesome and I've collected it in my idea book ever since. I've had some plans to make cross stiching with Duke or pixel pics as well, but that's another story... Anyway, I thought Duke could make it in our datalabb at work and it was a very long time ago since it was this fun to paint! Those of you who has actually played Duke Nukem knows he uses a lots of one liners and what I can remember from my own Duke Nukem gaming "Eat shit and die!" was repeated as a mantra thro many nights :)
